Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager (Technical) with a strong engineering background to oversee the delivery of technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role is ideal for a design engineer transitioning into project management or an experienced project manager who enjoys remaining hands-on with engineering tasks.
You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring smooth communication between customers, internal departments, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Technical

Provide technical input on project quotations and execution where required

Assist with engineering-related tasks to ensure project success
People

Communicate effectively with project teams, customers, and internal departments

Manage customer expectations and maintain strong client relationships

Collaborate with account managers and conduct regular project reviews with key personnel
Process

Take full ownership of projects from initiation through to delivery

Conduct research on project costs, timelines, and required skills/resources

Monitor and manage project budgets

Plan, schedule, and allocate resources in alignment with project priorities

Maintain accurate project documentation, including controlled drawings and project files

Use the central project planner to track project progress

Manage changes to priorities and reassign resources where necessary
