£37 per hour (Umbrella)
Shift uplift applies – typically 20% for day shifts, higher for other patterns
Working Pattern:
Shift-based role, Monday to Sunday
Rotating double day shifts or rotating early, late and night shifts depending on project phase
Some flexibility in shift patterns during specific project stages
Interview Process:

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test Operations Engineer to support Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) activities within a high-technology engineering environment.
You will be responsible for carrying out electrical integration and test operations on complex systems, supporting test campaigns through all phases of build, verification and fault resolution. This is a hands-on role requiring strong electrical expertise, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a shift-based operational team.
The role will initially involve some travel to Stevenage before transitioning fully to the Oxford site.
Key Responsibilities

Perform electrical test and integration activities in line with approved procedures and schedules

Support AIT campaigns, including preparation, execution and close-out of electrical tests

Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during test operations

Support test documentation, reporting and configuration control activities

Work closely with engineering, quality and operations teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery

Adhere to all health, safety and quality standards within a regulated environment
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:

Minimum HNC or NVQ Level 4 in an Electrical Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience

At least 5 years’ experience in a similar electrical test or integration role

Strong understanding of electrical test techniques, procedures and fault finding

Experience working in complex engineering or high-reliability environments
