MERITUS are recruiting for a HR Advisor to join our client on an initial 6 month contract from their major site in Broughton with the possibility of extension thereafter.

HR ADVISOR - INSIDE IR35 - £27.78 PER HOUR - 6 MONTHS - SINGLE STAGE INTEREVIEW PROCESS - BROUGHTON, FLINTSHIRE

Meritus is recruiting an HR Advisor on behalf of a leading aerospace organisation. This role will support HR Business Partners in the consistent application of HR policies and the effective delivery of HR processes in line with local legislation and global HR strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support HR Business Partners with the delivery of HR initiatives and campaigns

  • Act as the Workday (myPulse) and SAP focal point, supporting transactional HR activities

  • Maintain and update HR systems across the full employee lifecycle (hire to retire)

  • Coordinate and prepare HR reviews, ensuring timely and high-quality manager input

  • Analyse HR data to drive continuous improvement, ensuring consistency across countries and business areas

  • Monitor and report on HR metrics including headcount, absenteeism, salary review and bonuses, identifying risks and trends

  • Escalate HR risks relating to absenteeism, compliance training, time management and employee data

  • Support Talent Management activities, including wellbeing initiatives, succession planning and development pathways


Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong IT and data analytics capability, with a focus on evidence-based decision making

  • Previous HR experience, ideally across areas such as HR operations, payroll, HR analytics, recruitment, learning or HR systems

  • Solid understanding of HR policies, processes and systems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, particularly Excel

  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work autonomously

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills

  • Confident in influencing, negotiating, and taking initiative

  • Customer-focused with a practical, solution-driven mindset

  • High levels of interpersonal awareness, empathy, and teamwork
