About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading aerospace manufacturer in Belfast, supporting the production and delivery of the A220 aircraft wing.
This role focuses on continuous improvement, ensuring on-time and on-cost delivery through process optimisation, tooling improvements, and close collaboration with production teams. You’ll play a key part in driving efficiency, reliability, and quality across the manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support to production teams, resolving build issues quickly and effectively.

Drive continuous improvement activities to optimise manufacturing performance and efficiency.

Analyse and improve existing manufacturing systems and workflows.

Define and support tooling and jig requirements for wing component assembly.

Collaborate with design, tooling, and quality teams to ensure robust and reliable processes.

Support capacity management and assist in new product introduction.

Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and operational standards.
About You
-
Degree, HND, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.

3+ years’ experience in aerospace, automotive, or advanced manufacturing environments.

Strong understanding of industrial processes and production systems.

Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Proactive and solutions-focused approach to engineering challenges.
