MERITUS are recruiting for a Project & Enterprise Risk Manager to join our client at RAF Shawbury to work on exciting new aerospace projects.

PROJECT & RISK MANAGER - INSIDE IR35 - £41.15 PER HOUR - 6 MONTHS - UNDERGO SC CLEARANCE - SHAWBURY, SHROPSHIRE - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS

The role is responsible for on-time, on-cost, on-quality delivery of multiple aircraft modification and upgrade projects across the H135 Juno and H145 Jupiter fleets, ensuring aircraft availability in line with MoD flight plans, contractual KPIs, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple concurrent projects, maintaining planning baselines and delivery performance.

• Lead Enterprise Risk Management, identifying, analysing, and mitigating project and operational risks.

• Perform Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) to assess schedule uncertainty and define time contingencies.

• Provide performance reporting and analysis to support decision-making and service delivery.

• Develop and drive data-led visual management and governance, including dashboards and KPIs.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Extensive project management experience within aerospace or similarly regulated environments.

• Proven Enterprise Risk Management and QSRA capability (Primavera P6, PRA, SAP).

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at senior levels.

• Understanding of military environments and defence ways of working.

• Knowledge of aviation regulations(Part 145, CAMO, CAA, MAA).

Qualifications:

Essential

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field.

• Recognised Project Management accreditation or equivalent experience.

• Expert-level use of Primavera P6, Risk Analysis tools, and SAP.

Desirable

• Experience in military programme delivery or Helicopters support contracts.

• Knowledge of MRO operations, aircraft support contracts, or project accounting.

• Lean / Six Sigma or operational excellence methodologies.
