Technical Shopfloor Engineer

📍 Broughton | £36 per hour (via umbrella) | 12-Month Contract

We’re looking for a Technical Shopfloor Engineer to join the production team in Broughton. This role is all about supporting the shopfloor to keep production moving, solving technical issues, and driving continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing:

• Work alongside the production team and Autonomous Production Teams (APT) to resolve technical problems.

• Troubleshoot issues beyond the scope of operators and first-line managers.

• Provide an end-to-end perspective on shopfloor activities to ensure smooth production flow.

• Identify and support resolution of non-conformance issues.

• Contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and safety standards.

What we’re looking for:

• Background in manufacturing engineering.

• HNC qualification in engineering (desirable).

• Experience working to regulatory requirements.

• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.

• Excellent communication, autonomy, and adaptability.

• Customer focus with a commitment to product safety.
