About the Role
We are seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join a growing Part 145 maintenance operation supporting a range of commercial aircraft types.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with aircraft maintenance experience who is looking to develop their career within a professional aviation environment. Working alongside B1 Licensed Engineers, you will support aircraft arrival inspections, storage programmes, maintenance checks and preservation activities, ensuring aircraft remain compliant and serviceable throughout the maintenance process.
The role offers significant training and development opportunities, including support towards obtaining a Part-66 Category A Licence and progression towards a B Licence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support B1 Licensed Engineers with scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities.
- Assist with aircraft arrival inspections, storage programmes and maintenance checks.
- Read and interpret Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMMs) and Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPCs), with further training provided.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with approved procedures and company approvals.
- Assist with aircraft and engine preservation activities, including engine wrapping and storage preparation.
- Raise any safety concerns, damage, defects or non-conformities to the maintenance leadership team.
- Actively participate in daily operational reviews and team briefings.
- Maintain tools and equipment to the required standard, including routine tooling inventory checks.
- Promote high standards of housekeeping, FOD prevention and workplace safety.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing safety, quality and productivity.
- Contribute towards operational KPIs across safety, quality and delivery performance.
- Undertake training to operate specialist equipment and support aircraft towing activities.
- Support wider maintenance activities as required by the business.

- Demonstrable aircraft maintenance experience.

Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within a Part 145 maintenance environment.
- Experience supporting aircraft storage or preservation programmes.
- Familiarity with aircraft maintenance documentation and technical manuals.
- Experience working on commercial aircraft fleets.
- Ambition to progress towards Part-66 licensing.
