A&P AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - $38 per hour - OVERTIME AVAILABLE - Miami, Florida - PERMANENT - FAST MOVING PROCESS - SECTOR: MRO / AEROSPACE
Meritus are partnered with a growing aerospace MRO organisation in Miami supporting commercial and business aviation maintenance programmes. Due to continued expansion and increasing aircraft maintenance demand, we are seeking experienced A&P Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to join a high-performing maintenance team within a busy FAA Part 145 environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work supporting heavy maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and aircraft return-to-service activities across multiple aircraft platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and system testing
- Support heavy maintenance checks and modification programmes
- Remove, repair, and replace aircraft components and assemblies
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
- Complete maintenance actions in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
- Ensure accurate completion of maintenance records and documentation
- Support aircraft return-to-service activities as required
Required Experience
- FAA A&P License required
- 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience within MRO, commercial aviation, military aviation, or business jet environments
- Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis experience
- Experience supporting heavy maintenance and inspection programmes
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and aircraft documentation
- Previous experience within an FAA Part 145 environment preferred
- Strong understanding of FAA compliance and safety procedures
