This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant or highly experienced commercial finance professional to partner directly with senior leaders across Product and Technology, providing commercial insight, financial challenge and decision support across investment, transformation and business performance.
The organisation is a large-scale business with 5,000+ employees, so experience operating within a complex, matrixed environment is essential. Experience within SaaS, software, digital or technology-enabled businesses would be highly advantageous.

- Support Product and Technology planning, including investment prioritisation, roadmap decisions, resource planning and cost-benefit analysis.
- Provide finance support across transformation initiatives, including business cases, benefit tracking, cost modelling and scenario analysis.
- Own and improve monthly performance reporting for Product and Technology, highlighting financial performance, risks, opportunities and key cost drivers.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and rolling planning, ensuring assumptions are robust and aligned with strategic priorities.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and value from Product and Technology investment.
- Provide financial analysis covering development spend, cloud and infrastructure costs, technology suppliers and transformation programmes.
- Constructively challenge business cases and expenditure requests, ensuring investment decisions are commercially sound and appropriately governed.
- Translate complex financial and operational information into clear, concise and actionable insight for senior non-finance stakeholders.
- Contribute to improvements across finance partnering, reporting, planning and financial awareness.

Essential:
- Qualified accountant or equivalent level of commercial finance experience.
- Strong experience across budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial modelling.
- Experience working within a large organisation, ideally with 5,000+ employees.

- Excellent analytical, Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Ability to translate financial and operational data into clear commercial insight.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly when working with senior non-finance stakeholders.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities within a fast-moving, matrix environment.
Desirable:
- Commercial finance experience within SaaS, software, technology, digital or technology-enabled businesses.
- Experience partnering directly with Product and/or Technology functions.
- Experience supporting transformation programmes, investment appraisal, benefits tracking or operating model change.
- Understanding of cloud, infrastructure, development or technology supplier costs.
- Experience working across complex investment and prioritisation decisions.
