Job Title: Finance Transformation Lead – Global Controllership
Location: London 2 days a week onsite
Rate:£700-£900pd inside IR35
Length: 6 month initially with likely extension
Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Finance Transformation Lead to drive the global finance transformation strategy across multiple entities and regions. This role sits within the Controllership function, leading the design, standardisation, and optimisation of key finance processes while supporting ERP transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end finance transformation programme covering R2R, P2P, and O2C processes.
- Partner with senior finance leadership to define and deliver a global transformation roadmap.
- Oversee Global Process Owners, ensuring consistent process design, governance, and adherence to internal controls.
- Drive adoption of standardised processes and ensure compliance with local and international accounting policies.
- Define and monitor key performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Lead change management activities including stakeholder engagement, communication, and training.
- Support ERP system implementation and optimisation, ensuring processes are fully embedded.
Candidate Profile:
- Extensive experience in Finance Operations, with deep knowledge of R2R, P2P, or O2C functions.
- Proven track record in finance transformation, ERP implementation (preferably NetSuite), or SSC/GBS optimisation.
- Strong understanding of Controllership, internal controls, and IFRS.
- Experience managing teams or leading cross-functional workstreams in multi-entity, multi-country environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and change leadership skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to translate strategy into actionable process change.
Requirements:
- 8–10+ years in finance, finance operations, or finance transformation roles.
- Demonstrable experience in leading complex projects or programmes across finance functions.
- Comfortable driving initiatives in a global, matrixed organisation.
