WORKFORCE PLANNING & EVP ADVISOR - INSIDE IR35 - £36.28 PER HOUR (VIA UMBRELLA) - STEVENAGE, HYBRID - MUST UNDERGO SC CLEARANCE - 12 MONTHS
This role supports a major international defence aviation programme delivering next-generation combat air capability in collaboration with global partners. Working within the Programme People, Skills & Culture team, the position focuses on workforce strategy, skills development, employee value proposition, and cross-partner collaboration across a complex, multi-project environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Workforce Planning

Support strategic workforce and skills initiatives with internal and external partners.

Identify and help mitigate critical short- and long-term skills gaps.

Provide project management support for attraction, retention, and capability development initiatives.

Deliver workforce insights through data analysis, reporting, and SME input.
Employee Value Proposition & Culture

Support development of the programme Employee Value Proposition.

Coordinate internal and external award submissions.

Contribute to engagement, inclusion, and retention initiatives using survey and exit feedback insights.
Secondments & Partner Mobility

Manage cross-partner secondment processes and governance.

Act as key liaison for partner secondee exchanges.
Internal Skills Development

Support initiatives to strengthen internal capability and reduce reliance on external expertise.

Ensure skills development aligns with current and future programme needs.
Experience & Skills

Background in workforce planning, talent acquisition, HR, or STEM skills.

Experience within large, complex organisations.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Skilled in stakeholder relationship building and data interpretation.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Defence sector experience desirable but not essential.
